Use the electrical drawings for all wiring, terminal, and device-level troubleshooting.

ℹ NOTE Always use drawings that match the machine serial number and revision. Field modifications must be captured in an updated revision before release.

3. What the pack should include

Include, as a minimum:

  • Single-line / power distribution.

  • Control circuit schematics (24 VDC, interposing relays, etc.).

  • Safety circuit schematics.

  • Servo drive and motor wiring.

  • I/O wiring diagrams (including remote I/O).

  • Panel layout / backplate layout.

  • Terminal plan and terminal numbering.

  • Cable schedule (or cable IDs / from-to list).

  • Network topology and switch layout.

4. How to use the drawings (quick method)

  1. Identify the symptom and affected device.

  2. Find the device tag in the drawings.

  3. Trace power and signal path back to the source.

  4. Validate at terminals first, then at the device.

Record:

  • Sheet number.

  • Wire ID.

  • Terminal numbers.

  • Device tag / reference.
