02.1 Variants

The i5 Tray Sealer exists in two variants:

• i5

• i5+

02.2 What is the same

Both variants are mechanically identical.

They share the same:

• machine frame

• sealing system

• tooling system

• conveyors

• electrical cabinet

02.3 What is different

The difference is limited to machine configuration parameters and software settings.

The machine variant is determined by the PLC / HMI configuration.

It is not determined by mechanical differences.

i5+ settings (examples)

The i5+ variant may include modified machine settings such as:

• higher motion acceleration limits

• optimised motion profiles

• adjusted servo tuning

• higher throughput capability

02.5 Changing variant

Switching between variants requires modification of machine settings.

This must only be performed by authorised engineers.
